"Trio of Style"
Painting antique automobiles is one of my favorite subjects of all the the things I do. They have the sexy lines and great color schemes and lots and lots of chrome. The designers of the golden age of automobiles believed in bigger was better and they also didn't have to worry about gas mileage and EPA problems. The colors that they painted these cars are some of the most unique blends of anything you will ever see. The technology was not even close to today's and they were still able to hand mix and apply some beautiful paint jobs. Many of these automobiles have so much chrome that they shine like rolling mirrors. It is a testament to the engineers of the time because when chrome was first used it was a toxic and lethal process that killed many of the workers. With all the problems of the times and the trouble with getting steel and new processes being worked out, it truly is amazing that these cars were as good as they were. It brings meaning to the old saying that "They don't build 'em like this anymore." Enjoy
