"Color Palette"

I chose this photo to paint for our workshop and followers because of the limited colors that are needed. Basically three colors - Alizarin Crimson (maroon), Phthalocyanine Blue (thalo blue) and white. These colors work well with each other and will never mud up after you mix them. You can work them in layers over the top of each other starting with the dark blue at the bottom of the painting and working up. Or you can mix the colors and work them that way. If you have your drawing put down well you can lay in your basic colors and then dry brush the lighter colors on top, as well. This painting should be fun and not tedious, you really can't paint it wrong. There is no wrong way - just the fun way. Enjoy!
