Southhampton Lighthouse

We are very pleased to bring you the next guest artist to our blog. Ms. Olga Hutsul, a digital artist and photographer comes to us from Ontario, Canada. I was attracted to the piece you see here by the color scheme and the composition of design. In her own words she describes this piece: "Lighthouses, designed to safeguard passage for ships and boats, with time have acquired an aesthetic value of their own. These graceful tall structures always dramatically set in the most picturesque locations of the coastal line, with so much character, are always admired by their visitors. In this digital art piece I was looking to enhance the vibrant red of the roof, and accentuate the texture if this classic lighthouse in Southhampton, Ontario. This explains the composition of the artwork, as you see there are actually 2 views of the lighthouse shown: the close up of the building itself with all its intricate details, and the usual view at the background, the way one would see it from the shore." This is an eye catching piece that is available for purchase at Fine Art America - Olga Hutsul - just click on her name under artists and check out all the pieces in her gallery - you won't be disappointed. She will be back with us tomorrow with another post and we look forward to sharing with all our readers. Enjoy!
