"Antibes"

We are back again today with a piece from our guest artist, Olga Hutsul. In her own words, "The quiet little town of Antibes is located in the very south of France, along the fashionable Cote d' Azur. The harbor of this town offers a very dramatic look with the thousands of yacht masts against the dark of the greenery cliff that once used to guarantee its safety. This spectacular setting of course offered a wonderful opportunity for a photograph. However the light was far from dramatic on the day and time when I happened to be there. But this is precisely why I saw in it the perfect opportunity for digital art, it had the good bones, but lacked color. The mood, the tones, the contrast all needed to be worked on to bring back that fgantastic place, the way I see it with my memory's eye, making it a far more personal experience." I hope you enjoyed getting a glimpse of this wonderful artist and photographer and remember to visit her gallery at Fine Art America - Olga Hutsul, and see all of her pieces of art. I like from time to time bringing you fresh ideas and artwork from different pieces. I look through many portfolios before I decide what my readers get to view on this site. It is not any easy job, but with space being so vital and expensive I can't bring all the artist I see to this site. I will be back tomorrow with more from myself. Enjoy!
