The "Wildlife Series" is getting another entry today. The painting you see here is an acrylic on masonite board, basically using only browns. This started off as a pencil drawing that evolved into this study in brown. Keeping the palette to just 3 colors - brown, white and black makes this an exciting challenge. I hope that I was able to capture the solitude life that the moose leads. I will be putting this piece in the gallery as soon as I make some final changes to the foreground, adding some more detail.
