The piece you see to the left is one of a series I did years ago of "Native Americans". I was given a set of photographic books of the old west and one of the editions was titled "The Great Chiefs". Filled with hundreds of black and white photos, pree 1900's, this book was a journey through the history of these amazing people. Some builders, some farmers, some hunters they all were loyal to their people, their beliefs, as well as to the land that sustained them. The 10 pieces that I painted on these interesting people gave me an insight into their lives that still fascinates me to this day. They are a very proud people and passed this from generation to generation all the way to modern day. I think I will try to bring more of these to you in the coming days. I will be featuring a new artist this week as well. I believe she will delight you with her watercolors. Please be watching and remember, Enjoy!
