"Logos and Designs"
I wanted to show today another aspect of what I and many other artist do and that is to design corporate logos. This logo you see here is probably the 10th or 11th layout that evolved from our initial sketches. We changed the type font a couple of times as well as the color layout. After we had the initial logo finished and approved, the name changed, so we started over. This happens many times when you are working with clients on their design, they want something they can live with for many years and also something they believe best showcases their business. Many times the designers favorite pieces never see the light of day. The art director or client will nix them before they can even be finished. This is just all part of the process and doesn't reflect on our skill or talent. When doing work like this I always have a preference but usually don't let the customer know as to not put undo influence on them. I want them to choose the logo that is right for them and that they will be happy using in the future. Enjoy!
