"Celebration of Life"
Today is the day that we say goodby to a great friend, Larry Laznovsky. It occured to me just last night that we don't have to go today to mourn his leaving us, but to celebrate his life and what was important to him. These last five days I have been mainly listening to other people talk and interact at different functions and have come to realize that not one single negative comment have I heard. Every story has been about an act of kindness that involved Larry in some degree. He definitely didn't shrug his duties in any capacity of leadership. I knew from spending time with him that he was involved in many projects and charitable events, but I had no idea to what extent. Everyone that was close to Laz is going to feel the loss, not only in the time that we spent with him, but also in what we accomplished with his leadership. Dave, if you are reading this I wish you were here, our swimming pool project will not be the same without Larry leading us. It's going to take many people to step up to fill the shoes that He wore on a daily basis. You will be missed!
