This is the second posting from our friend Trish Pushaw. Not only does she paint very beautiful pieces, she also pairs them with beautiful words: "The idea for this piece comes from one of my favorite trees, the maple tree. Autumn leaves are few and far between in Southern California, so when fall comes I drive in search of them. In planning this painting I decided to paint a couple of chickadees on a branch. I had a photo file of chickadees and found just the right pair. I called this painting "In Thanksgiving" because autumn always makes me feel so thankful for all my blessings". The thought and the pre-preparation on this painting is what makes it work. The color palette is dead on and the chickadees balance out the scene. It is coincidental that while I am writing this post we got snow last night and the ground is covered in a white blanket. I hope to bring more of my friends paintings to you in the future and remember to visit our gallery - Fine Art America - Patricia Pushaw and see what else this fine artist has to offer. While you are there check out my pieces as well. If you look to the bottom of this blog at the new collages we posted, these are all the new prints that are being offered on our gallery link - Fine Art America - Kirby Crow. Be sure to leave comments on our posts it really helps us to bring a better product to you and also it strokes the delicate egos of our posting artists. Thanks Again and Enjoy!
