We don't have a painting to feature on today's post. I recently held a contest on my gallery site, Fine Art America, asking for any artists that wanted to enter their paintings that were of automobiles to do so. I had a great turnout and received some great pieces of art. The voting was done by a non-partial group of artists from the site. We were supposed to choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner, but that's when things got crazy. We had a two way tie for first with the same amount of votes garnered by each artist, and a three way tie for second with just just one less vote than first place. So here we go with the winners and be sure and visit their gallery sites at Fine Art America. All you do is type in their name once you get to the site.
First Place Winners: Yuriy Shevchuk - Ferrari 250 Gto 1963 and Ann Kleinpeter - '57 Belair
Second Place Winners: Kerry Burch - An Old Friend and Chrisann Ellis - Honor Them and Kirby Crow - Red Car
Congratulations to all the winners on a job well done. Please visit all these artists galleries and enjoy more of their art. We will be back tomorrow with a new post. Be sure and leave a comment for this blog or any of the artists, everyone will appreciate it. Thanks and Enjoy!
