Hunter's Dream

The next edition in the "Wildlife Series" is a winter scene with very cool colors and a warm centerpiece. This painting hangs in my sister-in-law's home and was purchased at my last one man show. The original watercolor was painted on 500 lb. D'Arches paper and the texture of the paper really adds to the look of the snow scene. The mist of the snow was a fun technique to paint, load up an old toothbrush and start flicking. When looking at the original the idea of cold and snow really comes through. It is with the help of people like "Diane" that help me to continue to paint and show my art. The cost of supplies has really escalated over the past years and to paint a single picture, the costs can run up to $100.00 just for paint and paper. So when you are thinking about purchasing art from myself or another artist, please keep this in mind. I hope you enjoy the new art and I am looking forward to bringing you the rest of the series in the coming days.
