Dual Artists

Continuing with the theme of bringing the art of other people to my blog we have another piece from my son, Casey. This happens to be a piece that we worked on together. We were motivated to do the piece after seeing the second "Spidey" movie together. We always go see these action movies by ourselves, the rest of the family doesn't like this sort of movie. The piece is very large, almost life size, and was done on foam core board and hangs in Casey's room. We split the work in half with him doing the pen work and me the color, that way we could each do what we wanted. I have really enjoyed bringing the work of my son and will bring my daughter's work in the near future. I don't encourage or discourage either one of them to follow in my foot steps, I have always believed that if you want to paint or draw or take photos it is a personal journey that is meant to be made alone. If they ask questions or need help I will always be there, but with both of them being very independent, that doesn't usually happen. I will return to the old format tomorrow and bring you some new art. Hope you enjoy and leave some comments and visit my online galleries. On the "Fine Art America" gallery site you can vote for me in several competitions which I have entered my artwork.
