Since I have been taking my sabbatical from painting I have felt the need to create. So I have been redesigning my logo for LazerWorkz, my advertising company for the past 20 odd years. Type design is a very specialized art and something that I am not usually involved with. When designing logos for other people I tend to choose a stock type design (there are over 100,000 typestyles) and then change them to work with the vision that I have. For these layouts I have basically re-designed an existing typestyle to work with my vision of what the updated logo should look like.
